Q-topia provides regular support groups and social events in a safe and vibrant environment.

We currently offer the following support groups:


Youth group (ages 14-18)

Run by a team of enthusiastic volunteer youth facilitators, this is our main network of support for young people. The group is loads of fun and there are always snacks, rad activities, and good vibes!! The group is run weekly on a Thursday evening during school term.


Phoenix (open to anyone under 30)

Phoenix is Q-topia's gender diversity support group. Supporting gender diverse, trans and any young person questioning their gender identity. This group meets fortnightly, in the evenings at a local cafe.

Whānau/Family support

Q-topia offers support and education for whānau with gender diverse or transgender children and young people under 16 years of age. This group is peer support based and gives parents a chance to talk through everything that is happening for their young person and whānau.
